Magic is Coming to AJJS – Get Ready for Disney Lorcana Organised Play!

Calling all Illumineers – something exciting is brewing at AJJS – All Things Games, and it’s shimmering with ink and Disney magic! We’re thrilled to announce our proposal to launch weekly Disney Lorcana Organised Gameplay at our store, giving local fans of the game a dedicated space to gather, learn, and battle using their favourite Disney characters.

Whether you're a seasoned card game pro or just getting started with the enchanting world of Disney Lorcana, this new Organised Play event will be the perfect way to explore the game, make new friends, and level up your strategy.

What is Disney Lorcana?

Disney Lorcana is a trading card game that combines beloved Disney characters with elegant, strategic gameplay. Set in the rich world of The Great Illuminary, players take on the role of Illumineers, using magical ink to summon glimmers of famous characters like Elsa, Stitch, Mickey Mouse, Moana, and Maleficent, and compete in friendly duels to be the first to gather 20 lore points.

With the latest chapter release introducing Jafar: Striking Illusionist, Lorcana has just turned up the heat. This cunning sorcerer brings fresh mechanics and new levels of trickery, making the game even more dynamic and competitive. Whether you're building a new Amber/Ruby deck around his manipulative magic or countering his schemes with your own glimmers, Jafar’s arrival marks a bold new direction in the game.

Now’s the perfect time to jump in or return to the table – the meta is shifting, and the cards are in your hands.

What to Expect from Organised Play at AJJS

Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming environment that supports both casual and competitive players. Here’s what we’re planning:

Weekly In-Store Gameplay

Every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we’ll host a structured yet relaxed play session where players can bring their decks and participate in casual rounds, learn the rules, or simply spectate and soak in the magic.

Future Prize Support & Tournaments

Once our community is established, we aim to register as an official Disney Lorcana Organized Play location, unlocking access to prize kits, promotional cards, and season-based competitive events. Expect giveaways, mini-leagues, and maybe even a few themed surprises!

Learn-to-Play Sessions

New to Lorcana? No worries! We’ll start each session with a short tutorial or demo round for newcomers. We’ll also have starter decks available for sale or loan so you can jump right in.

Family-Friendly Vibes

AJJS has always been about All Things Games – for all ages, and our Lorcana events will be no different. Kids, teens, and adults alike are welcome to join and enjoy the magic of this shared Disney adventure.
