Azul: Duel

Azul Duel is the dedicated two-player version of Azul, redesigned as a head-to-head tile-crafting duel where you compete to adorn the regal ceilings of Portugal’s Sintra palace. This standalone is streamlined yet tactically deep—perfect for duelists seeking tight, elegant gameplay in a beautiful package.

Players draft colourful acrylic tiles from central “factories,” then stack them onto waiting dome plates on their player boards. Unlike the original, you now choose the pattern of domed placements each round—stacking tiles tactically to deny your opponent vital pieces and claim bonus chips. The ceilings you construct yield scoring combos, endgame bonuses, and strategic misses that hurt your rival.

• 2‑Player Only: Designed exclusively for two players aged 10+, with a full game lasting around 30–45 minutes.
• New Mechanics: Stack tiles onto dome-plates in patterns you choose, influence opponent options, and collect bonus chips for clever moves.
• Components: Includes 75 acrylic tiles, dome-plates for both players, factories, bonus chips, bag and scoring tools. High visual and tactile quality throughout.
• Strategic Depth: More interactive and confrontational than standard Azul—timing, stacking order, and tile denial are critical.

Ultimately, Azul Duel delivers a polished, competitive experience that captures the elegance of Azul with sharper player interaction and decision-making. Ideal for couples, seasoned two-player gamers, or anyone craving a refined abstract duel.
